We woke up Sunday, and took it easy. Linda was feeling better, but we didn’t want to push it. She still had a little headache, and her stomach muscles were sore, but as the morning wore on she began to feel stronger. So we decided to head out for our return trip to Happy Trails.
We had lunch at Chipotle and then stopped at Matt & Suzanne’s house on our way out of town to pickup my Mother’s old hope chest. It was one of the remembrances that Jeni wanted to keep. It fit in the back of the Pilot. That car has come in handy many times.
Then it was on to the long and boring drive to Surprise. We were entertained on the trip with our satellite radio. We listened to some Christmas old time radio shows and sang along with some traditional Christmas songs (be glad you weren’t there).
We arrived in Surprise about 9:00pm (remember the 1 hour time change) stopped by Fry’s Marketplace to pick up some homemade soup for a late supper. The MoHo was still there and waiting for us. We watched a little TV and then it is off to bed. Hopefully Linda will continue to get better.

I would think the relaxing drive [not sure about the singing part...hee hee] was a great thing for Linda. Glad you got back safe!
