The “Q” RV Show

On Monday morning we went into town to the annual RV show inside of the “big tent”.RV show tentWe thought going on Monday after the opening weekend would mean a smaller crowd.  WRONG. crowds  The tent looks big, it is big, but really not big enough.  Because of the tent poles, the outside walkways are narrow, and the middle is nice and wide.  Unless there’s some presentation going on, then even it’s crowded.  Then there’s all of the vendors outside.  We walked every aisle, looked at every booth, and only bought water filters.  We did good.  Here’s Bob, Maggie, and Linda talking with an outside vendor.IMG_0125 The outside wasn’t as crowded because it was cold and threatening rain.  Here’s the inflatable kayaks that John is investigating.IMG_0127We think it would be fun to have a boat while we’re traveling, and these go into a large canvas bag weighting 45 pounds.  I’m going to try to find a place to try these on the water soon.

We ended the day with, what else, a Happy Hour.  Everyone brought goodies to eat, and the usual libations.  We had a great time.  We don’t know how long we’re going to stay this year, because the weather forecast is bad, and we don’t want to get stuck in the desert sand.
